After week long waiting, and headache i finally managed to install chrome os in ubuntu.

Actually i installed chromiumos-aura window manager to Ubuntu.

I just followed this GITHub repo: https://github.com/dz0ny/lightdm-login-chromeos for installation and error solutions.

I faced an error while launching of chrome os as there was some strange error:

root window unavailible (maybe another wm is running?)
[8433:8433:0707/140237:FATAL:browser_main_loop.cc(142)] Running without the SUID sandbox! Seehttps://code.google.com/p/chromium/wiki/LinuxSUIDSandboxDevelopment for more information on developing with the sandbox on.

I found that i  need a SUID helper binary to turn on the sandbox on Linux, but i couldn't make it work. I posed issune on repository.

One guy suggested me to disable the satuid-sandbox

To disable it you have to visit the path; /usr/sbin

Edit the chromeos file from the editor and add the line --disable-setuid-sandbox \ after --enable-natural-scroll-default \

Actually you can add it at any option, but to keep file in proper format and sequence i just added after --enable-natural-scroll-default \

After saving this goto terminal and type chromeos

And you are done :)

I'm extremely impressed with your writing skills and also with the layout on your weblog. Is this a paid theme or did you customize it yourself? Either way keep up the nice quality writing, it's rare to see a great blog like this one today.

Thanks for such nice reward...

I am using Drupal Gardens platform. You can customize themes by using theme builder.

You can create your own blog on drupalgardens here: drupalgardens.com

365 bet

It is theme that druplgardens.com provides by default.

It also has features to customize as per your taste.

Thanks for your info.  It worked great for me.

I wouldn’t install chrome OS in Ubuntu. Because, for that you need a virtual box as well some tools. If you are looking for testing beta applications, I would say it is okay. If you do this you will put your computer in an enormous pressure state. That is requiring almost 1 GB and a lot of processing power just run that Chrome OS. If you manage to get a stable build version with community support install it alongside with Ubuntu.
